Get Breast Milk

I take backpack shopping very seriously. My kids are hard on their stuff, so by the time spring rolls around, we may need to upgrade what seemed so new and fresh in the fall.

Now that the kids are fully back in school, that means unfortunately, there are a lot of teachers out there thinking about all the out-of-pocket money they're going to have to start spending on their classrooms.

I will be honest, I don't tend to think of Jacadi as my first back-to-school shopping destination. The name has become synonymous with gorgeous French baby and kids clothing--but also with expensive French baby and kids clothing.

Recently, I wrote about Zara and what a fantastic option it is for affordable, European-styled kids clothes, and how amazing their sales can be.

I really do consider myself lucky that my kids don't have a peanut allergy. And I consider myself more lucky that so far, kids in their classes haven't had any either. Still, I know we won't always be so lucky

If you haven't yet settled on a new backpack for your older kid yet, I think she'll probably love this one--at least if she's a fan of Twilight, or vampires, or True Blood. Which she is. As required by law.

School's back in session, and I'm back into my daily routine of packing lunches for my sons. I've been trying to think of ways to make this less of a chore, and I'm pretty sure I've found the answer.

Some mornings, as I leave for work, my daughter says, "Mommy, give me something from your bag so I can remember you!"
